Poly pipe size for my solar pool heater

I hope I can use my 1" buried poly pipe to connect to it with a larger pump.

I wouldn't do that. I would go with at least 1 1/2" PVC pipe or again, the head loss will make the flow a trickle. But if you have any space near the pool/pump, you could just put the panels there and save some time and effort as well as better performance. Like this:

Unfortunately I don't havwant any space near the pool.
My closest spot is 30 ft away on a shed roof on a 45 degree angle facing due south.
Did you say 1 half inch pipe running from panels to pump?

He meant 1.5" pipe. And 30 feet is no big deal. My setup is about double that from the equipment.

When I bought the house there were ten 250 foot runs of 1" black poly. Always got leaks and not as much heat as I wanted. I now have over double the area with panels.

They all have similar efficiency. The cheaper ones on eBay may have shorter lives, but I have no experience with them.
