I have a lot of bubbles in the pump basket. Sometimes my returns shoot out poofs of air until I turn pump off and restart. The bubbles in the pot are big and lots of small ones. On all of my returns I see very tiny bubbles rising to the surface behind the returns.
I see water around one of my fittings and the strainer pot doesn't empty quickly unless I remove the lid. Then water comes out from the fitting that attaches directly to the pump.
I had the pool guy out yesterday and he says this is all normal. I thought there was never supposed to be much air in the strainer pot.
