Installing new SPA

Just a quick question, I have read a lot on the use of chlorine, but little on bromine to sanitize the spa. Wondering what everyone thinks is the better options. The dealer that sold my wife the spa told her to use bromine. So I need a good explanation which one is better and why.

Bromine doesn't break down as quickly in the warmer temperatures.
