Jandy E pump won't start

I thought I posted my question earlier, but cannot find it...Anyway, this is just to help others. The 9v battery in the jandy unit died, causing the time to be wrong, programs to not run, etc....the main pump would not run. I checked voltages at the pump, found 240 v , figured the electronics failed....NOT...the problem was I did not tell the jandy unit the pump was a variable epump....once I did that its all working again. Just finished figuring out the assignments on the valves, all is good now...was within a few hours of ordering a new epump.....glad I sat back and thought about it for a few hours...
