I've read several post already on this topic but wanted to see if anybody has actually done it with good results? We have a 24X24 by 4" thick slab and were planning on setting up our 18' X 48" deep Intex pool and wondered if putting sand or foam on cloth before pool is better or not? Thnx

Is your concrete slab completely level? Have you verified for yourself with a level? If it is truly level, I would think you could set your pool up on it with a pool pad or mat underneath. I'd wait for someone else to chime in also.
I have our intex metal frame pool on a concrete slab - it used to be the base of our garage. Also had two intex Easy Set's on it too. I put EVA camping mats on the concrete, protects the liner and makes it lovely underfoot.
