Hi!

I am about to start the process my self. Does any one want to give advice as to which route to go. The mules are hard to come by in my area. However, if this is the best way to go, I will not start the process until I get the best product for my pool.

If you have zero borates in your pool now, and shoot for 50ppm, then you would need 55lbs of granular. I would order borate strips and test first though, might save yourself some $ and then you know what your levels will be.
