How long will Boric Acid last in storage

I am thinking about ordering some Borid Acid from I need 60#'s so I was 110#'s or two buckets if it would keep so I can keep the level maintained without having to pay shipping again. How well will it keep over the winter though is my Question?

I imagine if you can keep the container from crumbling, it will keep for decades.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
