    Electric heater for Intex

Think I posted this in the wrong forum originally, so reposting here.

Anyone have experience in electric heaters for a Intex pool? The ones I looked at state specifically NOT to use with a soft side pool such as an Intex, why would that be?

    Re: Electric heater for Intex

My guess would be the bonding issue. No way to reliably bond the heater to the framework and water of an Intex type pool.
15'x48" 4500 gallon Intex pool, buried 1.5 ft. Pac-Fab Dynamo 3/4 hp pump. Hayward S180T sand filter, bought used. Taylor K-2006 test kit. Rocket mass heater based wood fired pool heater.
