    Vinyl Tear in Corner above water line

    Hi all, seeking advice on what to do with the following tear.

    20' x 40' Inground Vinyl, 36,760 gal.
    Sta-Rite Cristal-Flow Sand Filter, Centurion pump (not sure of HP).
    Hayward CL220 Chlorinator (Used occasionally)
    3/4 HP Magnatek Century Centurion booster pump for Pentair/Letro Legend Platinum Cleaner
    Taylor K-2006 test kit, BBB method.

    esurfer... I would personally start looking at pricing new liners because it will more than likely tear more over the winter and you'll need a new one if you want to swim next year. JMO.
    I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!

    So I was able to fix the tear by applying a scrap of left over vinyl along the edge. We shall see how long it holds up.

    I had a MUCH larger tear in the same spot when I opened my pool this year (just bought the house). There was a big patch over the middle of it already. My buddy that owns a pool store tossed a big piece of scrap vinyl over it and it has been perfectly fine all season. I'll probably be replacing my liner next year though.
    21k gallon IG vinyl with sand filter and single speed pump. Propane Hayward heater installed with no bypass valves.
