Remodel Dilemma - Waterline Tile and hard water

I'm having my pool resurfaced and we're at the tile stage. I was going for a Mediterranean look; aqua blue pebble-sheen, white/off white deck, dark blue/cobalt water line tile. However, here in Phoenix, we have very hard water and I'm concerned the tile won't look good for long due to the calcium build up. Is there an easy way to maintain the look or should I get a different color tile?

Any suggests greatly appreciated!

You could probably scrub the tile every couple weeks with a weak solution of muriatic acid to keep the scaling down. It's a lot of work to keep the tiles up and shiny. I'm sure others may have opinions for you.
