White algae (I guess) on floor of pool. Safe to swim?

All levels are good. Pool turned green on me last week. Got it slammed, now it's sparkly blue with what I guess is dead white algae on the floor. Can the kids swim in it?

    Need to post some numbers.

Your idea of good might not be the same as mine but if they are good than I'd say vac the pool and then sweep to get that stuff brushed up so the filter can grab it and let the kids help by swimming and splashing about as they normally do

The white stuff is probably dead bleached algae carcasses, or sand, or dust, or DE or something else inert. Vacuum it up before they stir things up and make it look cloudy. I doubt it's toxic.

As for safe... depends on what "all levels are good" means. If the pH is between 7.2 and 7.8 and the FC level is below shock level for your CYA, then let 'em in.
