Pentair 320

I use BBB most of the time and use the Pentair 320 Automatic feeder W/ 1" tabs for the times I'm going out of town. Some say not to use 3" tabs in the 320 but most I know "use" 3" tabs. 3's are much cheaper. Is there a reason not to use them?

The Rainbow 320 is designed for use with either 1" or 3" tabs. The smaller tabs release chlorine more quickly. Other that that it doesn't make any difference which size tabs you use.
