Another Newbie with a Baq Conversion-Help!

Wanted to post sum more pics...not great quality cuz sending off cell phone but trust me water is clear throughout pool there is sum algae like I said laying on floor of pool and sum on sides but I can see every inch of my liner and through all my water...I luv you guys lol

Well, we love clear pools!

Keep taking pics, adding bleach and brushing and your water will sparkle!

Ditto Casey's advice!

Keep shocking, till there is no trace of algae left...you have reached the point where it's kind of hard to complete your conversion without a good test kit, specifically the FAS-DPD kit. Without it, it's going to be kind of hard to know when to change your sand.....

But good luck and it's looking great.

Remember, you are done shocking when

You Lose less than 1ppm of Free Chlorine Overnight...
Your CC is .5 or less
Your water is clear (and no trace of algae, green or otherwise)

When you meet these criteria, you are done shocking, and you can change out the sand.
