Safely adding bleach with SWG?

If we have a saltwater system should that be off when pouring bleach in need to get my FC up? I know the filter needs to be on but it's ok that the SWG is connected to my filter pump right as long as it's off?

Just pour it into the pool near a return. You don't have to turn off the SWG.

You can leave the SWG on, just add it like Robbie said.
