Just wanted to thank all of those who posted instructions and vids about fixing bad AQ-Rite boards by replacing current limiter. Did mine yesterday and is back up n running! I tried to replace the K1 relay also but couldn't get it off the board and decided to heck with it; will just put board back in with the new CL n see how it goes. a-ok for now. In meantime ill research a lil about how the heck to get that K1 relay replaced if it goes bad.

Next on the list is researching how to find a leak. Did the bucket test last wknd; pool dropped 1.5 in. vs only 1/4 within bucket. Not finding obvious leak anywhere so far.

Wife is off work today enjoying pool all to herself while im at work. no fair!

Glad you found out how to repair it yourself. Imagine of you hadn't found this info how much it'd have cost you. Not considering that you'd most likely thrown away a unit with just a minor issue.

The DW and the GK's are enjoying ours today as I sit here slaving away! :whip:
