CYA question

Hello, All!

I'm slowly adding CYA to my pool to get it about 50. I'm using a liquid stabilizer so I don't have to worry about the sock. My question is, how long do I have to wait after pouring it in before I can use the pool? I typically wait about 45 -60 minutes after adding muriatic acid, but wasn't sure about the stabilizer. I like to add the chems in the morning so we can use it later in the day. Thanks!

Half an hour should be plenty. As soon as it's mixed well enough that you can't see where you poured it, you're probably fine. Swimming will actually help mix things.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if there were any issues if you swam into a concentrated area of it.
