PH Vs CSI

Which is worse? PH of 7.0 or CSI of .36?

If I increase PH to 7.5, my csi will be .36. If I leave PH 7.0, my CSI is -0.11 closer to zero than .36. But, leaving PH at 7.0 is ok? Which is better?

FC - 7
TA - 80
CH-625
CYA -60
Temps - high 107 (AZ)

With a CH that high, you are probably better off slightly negative than positive and you really don't need to worry much about CSI between -.5 and .5.

Thank you! Just to be clear there is no downside for having PH at 7.0?

Many people find that their eyes sting a little when swimming underwater with the PH below 7.2. We don't normally recommend going below 7.2 for that reason, but otherwise, 7.0 is alright.

I'm not seeing how your CSI is that high. What is your water temperature and what is your salt level?

How are you chlorinating?
