Pool Blaster Speed Jet question.

Hey guys my first post and issue.

I recently bought a Pool Blaster Speed Jet robotic pool cleaner. It looks to be the same as a Pool Rover Jr. I dropped it in the pool and bled the air out and ran it. I noticed it only hits the wall in one direction no mater what setting I have it on. Large pool or small pool it changes direction about 3/4 the way across. I called the company and they say it's a bad spring in the diverter valve. So long story short I get the run around for a few days and I decide to call Leslie's Pools and explain the issues I have been having. They tell me to give it back and exchange it out for a new one. Take it home and it does the same thing.
Do any of you have experience with this unit or like unit?

It cleans the pool but should I even worry about it?
