    Electric pool heater? Pahlen

In search for NG heater or heat pump for 27' AGP and I came across a company named Pahlen, swedish company, that sells electric pool heaters. Very interesting reading and I was wondering if anyone has been able to try one.

They do have North American distributors.
    Thanks for any input.

Electrical resistance heating is about the most expensive way to heat anything. A heat pump gives you several times as much heat per KW used as a straight resistance heater.

Just turned on my heat pump yesterday. Went from 68 to 81 in less than 12 hours and ambient temperature was less than 76 degrees (high humidity). So I glad I went that route!

Depends on the cost of your electricity, varies quite a bit across North America. Here in Manitoba, Canada, its quite cheap.

A heat pump still produces around four times the heat for the same power use as resistance heating.
