Back Washing Frequency II

My filter pressure is not changing much (150 pound sand). On low, the psi stays around 4 and on high it hovers around 16psi. I vacuum and backwash weekly but if my psi stays normal is it ok to go longer between backwashes? Pool is crystal clear (knock on wood) and my CC is usually measured at zero. I have one of those mesh sock thingies in my skimmer basket to catch the really small debris.

No need to do routine backwashes without a pressure rise. The only time I backwash my filter except at opening and closing is when it rains enough that I need to lower the water level.

No need to backwash until normal pressure rises at least 25% or return flow is really decreased.
