    New Sand Filter

I am upgrading from a Hayward cartridge filter to a hayward Pro sand filter for a 16' by 48" Intex metal frame pool hard plumbed with 1.5 inch pvc.

Is the 14 inch size ok? What is the differnece between the S14T and S14TPAKS listed on hayward site?

I'm sorry no one responded to your question earlier, but perhaps bumping this up will get a response. We're pretty busy during the summer months or it could be that no one knows the answer to your question (unfortunately this isn't my area so I can't help you).
