So much better today. Got my little buddy cleaning away. I couldn't see him on the bottom yesterday. Just got to get all the junk filtered out of the water.

Did you guys pump all the water off the cover before you removed it? I pulled my cover myself n my biggest fear was dumping it but It didn't happen... I just got stung by a bee! Wooooooeeeeee
I have SO enjoyed reading this and seeing these pictures tonight. Thank you so much for sharing! I would love to have a setup like this but I'm not sure if I have the patience, funds, or skill to pull it off! Very impressive.

I wanted to put my two cents in as well. I'm right down US1 from you, and I have a similar installation - a fairly large slope. Your install turned out well - looks good. My deck surrounds the pool on the high side, so I just filled completely in. It's been five years now with no issues. I ended up about 2.5 feet underground on the high end.
