Using concentrated bleach, 121 Oz = 182oz. To raise level up 5 ppm calculator says I would only need 129 oz but I put the whole gallon and only got 5 ppm. Should I have not gotten more since this is really more with it = 182 oz in a bottle? 17131 gallons and this is 8.25%

Last year, standard bleach was 6% and came in 182 oz jugs. Then it became 8.25% in 121 oz jugs. It's just marketing hype that 121 = 182. And it doesn't, anyway, but that's not the point.
If you plugged your numbers into pool math and selected 8.25% bleach as the source, and it asked for 129 oz, then you needed a full 121 oz jug and a cup more. Forget all the hype.

No. You targeted 5 and you got five. So whatever you entered was right. Just put the "121 oz equals 182 oz" out of mind as an annoying advertising ploy.
