Testing boric acid before adding

Hi there. Been using the bbb method for a month or so with great success and consistency. I ordered plenty of boric acid from dudadiesel and am very impressed with that guy! My question right now is: myself being historically allergic to all things laundry soap and fragrance lotion/hand soap. Would taking a bath with a small amount of boric acid in the tub be a suitable test? Or is this the dumbest thing you have ever heard?
I searched and didn't see anyone with complaints of rashes after boric acid but then again most people don't break out to the degree I am prone to.

Seems like a fair test, just measure carefully to make sure you only have 50 ppm in it. Not a fair test if you end up with 1000 ppm in your tub
