What is the best way to deactivate the copper production on this model which has a maximum 12 g Chlorine/hour and Copper ionizer current of 175 mA.

I presume Intex added copper production to prevent Algae outbreaks which would eb difficult to correct for most consumers and probably resulting in a lot of returns. However, no need for copper if FC is good....

You can just unplug the power to the copper bars. Some people remove the bars but you don't have to. The bars are held in be two long bolts. If you remove the bars you will need to plug the holes in the cap. For more information google "remove copper bars from Intex SWG".
