Pool drain making pulsating noises

Hello,

I originally posted this question in the wrong section. I'm hearing pulsating sounds coming from the pool drain. Even when we turn the pump off it's still pulsating. What is causing this? I tried backwashing, going to rinse then back to filter but I still hear the noise. Should I call a plumber or a pool tech?
