    Cleaning filter; quick question

Hayward DE filter, just took apart and cleaned. Before I put it back together, do I need to lube this:

    Thanks!

Don't argue. Just get the kit. TF100 or Taylor K2006C

I've never lubed mine and I have fingers in my DE Filter. I always put mine back together and it never leaked. If you do lube it, use pool lube only!
I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!

Thanks, Casey! We had never lubed it before either but I thought it couldn't hurt. And I did use pool lube.
