    adding liquid chlorine

    Will it hurt my cover to add chlorine without removing it? I would like to just pull it back and add in front of a jet .
    21,000 gallon IG with vinyl liner, Pentair sand filter, TF100 test kit, pool is about 15 years old.
    new in 2016 - Hayward SWCG with T15 cell

    No. As long as you don't pour the stuff on the cover, it'll dilute in the return stream in a hurry. And if the cover is polyethylene - not even then. They make chemical jugs out of that stuff!
