Directions to the Bleach method

Currently I have a 350 gallon hot tub that I sanitize with bromine in the little bottle that is inside the filter so when the water is sucked thru it passes through the bromine. If I can stop buying 3lb bottles of bromine and just use bleach it would awesome. Thanks

If you still want a bromine spa the buy some sodium bromide product and follow the instructions to add 1/2 ounce per 100 gallons. Then you can just add bleach and it will create more bromine.

If instead you want to have a chlorine spa, then you need to change the water in order to do that. You could then use the Dichlor-then-bleach method described in this sticky at the top of this forum.
