I had a bright green swamp on Sunday, worked shock cal/hypo 73% powder since then. Levels are holding, FC & TC are holding shock level now, wasn't on Mon/Tues. Water is cloudy and just won't clear. Though about turning off filter (running since Sunday) and seeing if it will all drop to bottom. Vac to waste and be done. Any thoughts need to clear for my wife, cause she lost last weekend to green swamp. Any more info anyone needs let me know, can give exact number etc. This is only my 2nd year with this pool having issues, prior 5 years no problems. Not sure what has changed.

First of all what are you using to test?
Secondly, yes please post your numbers. Particularly FC, pH, TA, and CYA. You can post CC as well but I expect there's no need as I'm guessing you have organics in your pool.

I am having the same problem. I have shocked 3 times. Killed the algae but the water will not clear up. I have tested with a 3 in 1 test strip (Free chlorine, PH, total alkalinity). I also use a VUE block test kit for Chlorine and PH. Intex 18X48" pool. 6,432 gal. Using supplied filter system.
