Auto fill question

I have a general question about the auto fill and how to dissemable then locate the right part. It seems the bobber portion of the auto fill is working, but a portion of the auto fill that connects the bobber to the pvc line is in bad shape and leaking. I've attached a pic of my setup and the oval represents the portion of the auto fill that I believes needs to be replaced. You'll notice two areas where the water is filling the pool. The arrow shows where I think the part was over calcified and then broke off, created a constant flow of water into the pool. Any thoughts on what the oval piece is and how I dissemable so I can replace?

You can take a pair of channel locks and grab the whole thing and twist it out (grab the wide metal part in your red oval). They sell whole replacements for $15 or so. The PVC is probably fine!

The valve should just screw into a PVC fitting in the side of the bucket. Turn the water off at the source first of course.

Is there a way to locate just the valve portion? Home Depot, Lowes, etc? Maybe in a plumbing dept? It's the only portion I need to replace.

It is just a basic float valve, I have no idea what the hardware store carry

You mean keep the float? I've only seen it sold as a set.
