When I started testing my pool my CYA was under 20. I added about 2lbs. of CA and now it reads 20-25 maybe. I never get full sun and maybe get 3-4 hours of partial sun on my pool. I'm trying to keep my FC around 3 now and my CC is .5 or less. Would a higher CYA benefit me?

If you added dry CYA, it takes about a week or so before it will register on the test completely. In WI, I would think 30 would be sufficient though.
^ +1 Especially since your pool gets no direct sun and only a couple hours of partial sun.
