Just came back from vacation and saw SWG said low salt. Measured and the salt level is 3000 ppm. Table says add 10 lb of salt to get to 3300 ppm, but I added only 4 lbs (that's all left, getting more tomorrow). Based on table, 4 lbs makes level up to 3100 ppm. Even that the SWG still saying low. What is wrong here. The manufacture recommended salt level is 3100 - 3300 ppm

Have you inspected the cell for calcium scaling and cleaned it if needed? Scaling can result in low salt warnings.
Can't believe that much calcium deposited only two weeks. Cleaned. Back to normal.

If you keep the pH under control and in the lower 7s that should slow the build up. Do you have a set of test results?
