How do I lower my TA without turning my pool green

Sorry, this year has been a challenge, after getting this pool (with the house) 2 years ago. I've slammed the pool twice and thought the algae was under control this year.
    FC 4-5, CC 0, pH 7.4, TA 100, CH 175, CYA 50. I'm using the pool calculator.

I'm trying to get my TA down to 70 so that I can add borates. However, when I add 500 cc 31% acid to drop my pH to 7.2 and then aerate, my FC drops to 0.5 and I had green in the pool this morning. I guess that actually makes sense since the acid would combine with the bleach. When I add bleach to restore the FC, the pH goes up again. How do I get this TA down without green outbreaks?

I'm not sure the aeration is doing anything other than cooling off my pool.

Vinyl liner, Sand filter, natural gas heater

Lowering the pH and TA has nothing to do with your FC dropping. How are you chlorinating?
