    Need a little advice

    New home owner old pool...Drained it to about 30% and filled back up.....Went to the TFP way and Im having a little trouble with calcium chloride needing to be added. Don't know where to get this.

    My current levels are

    FAC 1.24
    PH 7.7
    TA 69
    CH 400
    CA 109
    PHOSPHATES 1000

    I don't think you need calcium, your CH is already 400, on the high side. You need your PH lowered a tad to 7.5. Is CA your CYA level? If not, what are your CYA and FC/CC levels?

    How are you getting those results?
    33' round, 23,000 gal AG vinyl , 1HP 2spd PowerFlo Matrix downsized with 3/4HP impeller (X2), Hayward S180T 150# sand filter (X2), Hayward H250 NG heater Pool Store year 1 - $850 for 2 months; Pool Store year 2 - $440 for 2 months, TFPC year 1 - $170 for 4 months; TFPC year 2 - $95 for 4.5 months

    I took a sample in to the pool store. The CA is yes my CYA

    Opps so sorry....my original post did not have the pool size. I have a 20X40 8 foot deep end....32000 gallons

    Checking my signature to see if all of the information made it in there.
    20 X 40.....32000 Gallons.....Gunite.....Live in Albuquerque New Mexico...............Sand Star Pump...Heater but only use when we first start up in April/May...
