Intex 15x36 metal frame green

I was hoping someone could give me some advice. I am working with a 15x36 metal frame intex pool that has turned green. I was away for a couple days and then had a huge rain storm. I am currently using a TF-100 testing kit
Chlorine 5
Aklinity 60
PH 7.2
CYA under 20 ( I will be adding more stabliler)
Should I add more chlorine to shock it? Thank you in advance for you help.

Yes, you should raise FC to 10 and recheck and replenish it repeatedly until it passes all three tests in the Shock Level and Maintain process article.

Ok I thought so. I'm actually helping a friend with hers. This site was so helpful with helping me last year when I had the same problem. I just wanted to double check I was remembering right.
