My Polaris 9300 stopped working a month ago. I had installed a new floating cable in 2011 after the unit stopped working after 1 year. It was under warranty. Now the warranty has expired. I ordered online a new floating cable 2 weeks ago from Aquaquality Pools out of NY. I installed it yesterday and the unit still doesn't work. A new drive motor is $300. I'm hoping I can return the floating cable ($180) back to the vendor, but I am leery. Their return policy is a tad bit gray. If not I guess EBay. This robot cleaner is like having a car with maintenance and constant little issues. But when the robot was working properly, it did a great job.
