DIY Pool Vacuum

I'm looking to put together a portable vacuum for the club I run. We have two pools that need to be vacuumed on a weekly basis; if not more. Currently we plug into one of the skimmers and use the filtration system to vacuum. Because one pool is so far away from the pump room we barely get any suction.

I was looking at using something like this. I would have it on a portable cart with an extension cord.

Would something like this work?

By the way the two pools are 130,000 gallons and 70,000 gallons.

That is an AG pump setup and I don't think Intex pumps are very good at self-priming nor have very high suction lift so it could end up being PITA every time you want to vacuum.

However, other AG setups like this one, would self-prime.

But it would probably be very heavy once the filter is full of water.

The best solution is probably a commercially available pool cleaner like this one:

I would get as small as possible. Note that the Tomcat is using a very small filter. First, you don't need a big filter because it is not for general use and second, the larger the filter, the heavier it will be when full of water. That also means that you need to pair it with a small pump so as not to damage the filter.
