    New to owning a pool...HELP!!

We are still fairly new at the whole pool is IG and about 25000 gallons. It was very dark green (we didnt cover it at end of summer...still learning) we shocked it and now its a nice blue but very cloudy. We took a sample to the pool store and they said add stabilizer and chlorine and let sit 72 is the 72 hr mark...still cloudy???? And reading 0 chlorine and low stabilizer. We live in the country and have very hard water...been a very wet summer too....any ideas?

    Welcome to the forum!

Can you put all of your pool/equipment specs in your signature? If there's anything you're not sure of, we'll help you figure it out. The reason we ask is that the advice will be different based on type of pool, filter, etc.
