Psi 29 at speed 4. Do I need to be worried?

Hi, I haven't done any cartridge filter cleaning since I moved into my current home with pool 15 months ago.

Today I noticed psi is 29 at speed #4. I have variable speed pump.

But, at speed #1 - psi is 2
at speed #2 - psi is 14
at speed #3 - psi is 18
at speed #4 - psi is 29.

Should I be worried. Verified that my gauge goes to zero when the pump is not running.

Please advise.

My current test numbers- FC - 7, PH - 7.4, TA - 90, CH - 625, CYA - 60

That could be normal, although not likely a need to be running at that high a speed.

I would clean the filter in any case. I just use a garden hose with a high pressure nozzle. My filter runs 10psi most of the summer and I clean it in the spring when I open the pool.

Especially since we just had that dust storm roll through the other day I would definitely clean the filter. Howdy neighbor!

Record the clean value at high, and clean when the pressure climbs 25% of the clean value.
