    Greetings.

Hi, I'm Wayne Rogers and have been in the pool service industry around two years. Found this website searching for TDS data for my clients and found out I was misinformed from classes I took. Looking forward to a source of experts for knowledge and scientific data leading to a thorough understanding of pool water chemistry while obtaining expertise, knowledge and certainty in the field that will be conveyed in my work and demeanor.

    Welcome to TFP!

If it's pool knowledge you seek, you've come to the right place.

I'm guessing that you took the state recognized certified pool operator course. There is a lot of good info there, however there are also myths and outdated info being taught.

A good place for you to start expanding your knowledge would be in our Pool School, starting with The ABC's of water chemistry.

Good luck with your quest for good knowledge!

Thanks. I have not got my CPO yet but did get the pool chemistry cert from IPSSA. I'll check the ABC's.

    You're done SLAMing when:
    1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.
