I am doing a rebuild of my equipment pad with better optimized plumbing, a new pump, new filter and I will need to reconnect my gas heater to the existing pipe. It's connected today with rigid black iron pipe, and I'm wondering if it's now possible to use flex pipe from the shutoff valve to the heater. Since the height on the pad will change a little, that will make my life easier.
Is it permissible via code to run the last two feet into the heater with flex supply line?
