A photo would be a big help. Also, what is the trim made of (plastic, tile, metal, etc)?

By the by, your PH is too high.

The trim is made by Hayward. Gray plastic...the site will not let me post a pic.

Why does my PH keep climbing up?

You need to follow this tutorial on how to upload pictures.

pH naturally increases when the pool is in use. Plug your numbers into PoolMath and add muriatic acid accordingly.

The pH climbs faster when the TA is higher and yours is quite a bit higher than recommended for an SWG pool. See Recommended Levels and Water Balance for SWGs. If you want to lower your TA more quickly than just adding acid to lower the pH, see how to Lower Total Alkalinity.
