Trying to run my tests again with the TF100 kit. First issue: run the FC test, it takes 17 drops to make the color disappear but the solution looks somewhat cloudy, write down the number, turn to the CC test, whoops, the solution is no longer clear but slightly pink! What gives? Note, I cannot stir the solution while writing down the number.

You took too long doing the test. You need to move along fairly quickly to avoid things like this happening. The solution will always turn pink again if you leave it sitting too long.
Guess I'll have to get my wife involved. I don't think it took me more than 30 sec. to write the number down.
You might also want to consider investing in a speed stir, they do make things much easier
