Going out of town...Need advice

Hello Everyone,
I will be going out of town for three days and need some help on how to maintain chlorine levels while I am away. Do I bring it up to slam level and cross my fingers for when I get back? Or can I throw a trichlor tablet in it for the three days i will be away? Any suggestions would be appreciated
