So, had the Stenner up and running for a couple of days, had an issue keeping CL levels up, still having to manual dose. Finally had some time to sit down and observe the timer and thought that was odd, it should be running right now...those pesky AM/PM indicators are really important to pay attention to. 
Then, right when you think you are home free, you check do your daily check and notice a little drip, you grab a wrench to ever so slightly tighten the the injection fitting...SNAP
you go to your misc PVC fitting collection (you've gone from beginner (pool store flex hose) to advanced (hard piping), from LQ to Stenner, you've got some spares laying around and the only part you really need you don't have! So you go to the brick and mortar store (Lowes) to learn they are out of 90 Deg elbows 
and notice all of there fittings are now made in China (including the one that broke). 
You stroll down to Menards to learn they not only have the 90's you need, but they were made in the good ole U.S.A. Bonus.
Lessons learned:
1. Spend an extra few minutes making sure the timer is set right, just because you can have 20 events a day, doesn't mean it will do what you intend it to.
2. If you purchase a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/2 T from Lowes (that was made in China), expect it to break off after a year or so (it literally split right at the seam where the T was halves were joined when it was molded.
3. To improve upon the 'T', an old plumber gave me a tip - use a 1 1/2 T and purchase a 1 1/2 PVC SLIP to 1/2 NPT bushing - much stronger fitting and won't break during that last tweak to stop that pesky leak.
Now, need to see where I am at later today not that the timer will actually run for it's afternoon cycle.
