I just raised my FC level to shock level of 16. I doubt I'm going to lose 1PPM overnight, but I did this to double check to make sure Ive killed the algae since I had to wing my SLAM.
We swam in the pool over the weekend with FC around 7.5 and CYA of 40. So the FC wasn't too far out of the recommended range for 40 CYA.
My question is, what FC range is OK to swim at? I remember reading on here somewhere that you can swim safely at shock levels ( I'm pretty sure Richard said that, I'd have to search it.). Is that true?
My peeps want to swim tomorrow. Are they OK or should I give it a few more days to settle?
My numbers tonight, before shock were:
FC--7.5
CC--0
PH--7.4
TA--80
CYA--40
I bumped FC to 16 about 25 mins ago.
