Need Help with Speed Stir

Just put batteries in my new Speed Stir. Indicator light comes on when I push the on switch but nothing else happens. Shouldn't this thing vibrate buzz or something?

Mine makes a bit of noise, but dumb question, did you put the white pill shaped magnet in the tube?

No. Did you put a cylinder on it with the little pill inside?

Pill in the tube, what pill? Let me look for it my Speed stir was shipped loose with no instructions. Thanks for the help

It will not work without the little white stirrer bar.

Shucks, just searched my kit and there is no little pill. Guess I'll give them a call Monday and ask them to send one. This swirl and add drops at the same time requires more coordination than I've got.

Where did you order it from that it was not in a package? It should have also included a cylinder ... although all the TF-100 cylinders will work too.

TFTestkits. It was in the box with my test kit loose with 4 Duracell batteries (also loose). If there is a plil/stirrer I can't find it.

it's the coolest thing about testing your own water.

This is what you should of got in the speed stir package (see pic) plus batteries.

The little white pill looking thing is what sits in the cylinder on the speed stir. It spins like crazy when you turn it on lol

The magic is there is a small motor with a magnet inside the SpeedStir and the "Tylenol Pill" is a plastic covered magnet.

If you ever lose it they are on ebay in various sizes. Now that I've said that I should likely order a couple as I've guaranteed I'll lose mine.

The "little pill" is a magnet. It may have gotten stuck on something in the packaging or on something metal when you opened the box and you didn't notice it. Take another look. It's always helpful to have a second one in case you lose one. They are cheap enough.

Very strange. Mine came in a package, and I have never heard one coming loosely placed in the kit like that. Very, very odd.

Dave will take care of you, especially if you got it from him. No worries.
