    I think he's dead, Jim!

    Tested my water today and had 0 FC. Went to check the cell and when I unplugged it I found this:

    So I'm guessing it's fried. Any idea what might have caused this?
    17.5K inground plaster pool/spa, Aquapure PLC 1400 SWG, Jandy stealth 1.0 hp pump, 1.5 hp booster pump, Jandy 60 sqft DE filter, 400,000 btu heater, Zodiac MX 8 cleaner

    OUCH... That doesn't look good and it's time for a new one.
    I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!

    A bad/dirty connection will cause the contacts to overheat, potentially causing damage like that.
