    Adding Chemicals

    When pool water needs to be adjusted is there an order for adding chemicals and how long should you wait before each additional chemical is added. Are you suppose to add one thing at a time.
    In-ground 16x32 Gunite with ceramic tiled waterline. Whisperflo 2hp pump, Pentair 420 cartridge filter, Rainbow Model 320 Automatic Chlorinator, Polaris 280 & Polaris 3/4 hp booster pump, Amerlite 500 watt pool light

    Ph, then Fc, then whatever else after that. 30 minutes apart will be fine.

    Also, if you need to adjust CH do it last after everything else is balanced.

    You're done SLAMing when:
    1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.
